four days after liposuction and it looks horrible? I had tumescent liposuction on the "saddlebags" of my outer thighs. The day after surgery, I noticed the results! The saddlebags were gone, although the area was bruised and lumpy looking. Now, after four days, my thighs look almost as big as they were before. If I hadn't seen the 850 cc's of fat with my own eyes, I would swear nothing had been removed. What is going on? Is it just swollen? Is it going to shrink again? Question about liposuction? I had a consultation with a prominent cosmetic surgeon today about liposuction. I am very thin and healthy (so save the lecture); however, I'm genetically predisposed to disproportionately large thighs. He said I'm a good candidate due to my size and skin type. I've read however that many people have bad side effects such as sagging/lumpy skin, dents... particularly older women. Suppose I have the surgery and experience none of these, could these side effects suddenly occur years later? Or, will I recover and not have to worry about it? Lost about 50 pounds (the right way) but is still unhappy with her thighs and wants to get liposuction. I think she looks awesome and doesn't need it. And I also remember hearing about some dangers involved, such as blood clots. I want to be encouraging for but I'm concerned about the possible dangers. Has anyone had this procedure and if so, what was your experience? Am I justified being concerned or over reacting? I'm not looking to have this procedure. I just want to know if there are dangers/risks involved. Was my question that unclear?

Has anyone had laser liposuction done? Does it work? I started hearing about an alternative to traditional liposuction in which a laser is used instead of a regular cannula. It claims the fat "melts away". Of course, that sounds about as credible as Britney Spears receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. Has anyone had this procedure done? Does it work?

Liposuction or Tummy tuck? i've been to 2 consultations in the past regarding getting liposuction in the tummy area. i was told that a tummy tuck would be better (i have 2 kids) there is a bulge and my skin looks slightly wrinkled. anyway, it will take a good while to save up for the tummy tuck so i am seriously considering lipo instead. has anyone who has had children gotten lipo intead of a tummy tuck??? if so were the results good? was there excess skin?? do you know of any websites with pics specifically of women who've had children then had this procedure done?? i live in the southwest suburbs of chicago, are there any good docs someone could recommend? sorry for all the questions, i am just rambling lol
