cosmetic surgery? i was just wondering what everyone's opinion on cosmetic surgery is. im planning on getting it when i am of age, not to look fake but just to feel better about myself. i watch dr. 90210 and i think i would like to have dr. li as the surgeon for a breast augmentation i may get. i would have to be really rich though, cuz most insurance companies dont pay for it right? o i thought she only did like breast augmentation and reductions etc but she does really nice nose refinements and stuff. so if i become rich (in my dreams) i could get surgeries by her. ok apparently ppl dont understand wat i mean. i know the risks etc etc i just dont think theres a problem with getting a surgery to feel better about yourself. and if you feel thats what u want to do, i say go for it. i cant really explain it online

My friend told me that circumcision was a purely cosmetic surgery of the penis and to make it look better but also had sexual benifits for the woman. She also told me that in the old days maybe a hundred years ago midwives did it on boys to keep them from playing with themselves and that circumcisions are becoming rare these days. Is any of this true? I always thought moms had their boys done for medical reasons?

Can you get cosmetic surgery on graft sites? I was in a bad accident 5 years ago, and part of my injuries was a badly disfigured, indented patch on my leg which had a skin graft. The indent is very pronounced, and it looks like i have a section of my leg missing on one side. I also have severe nerve damage to this area. Cosmetic Surgery??? I'm still fairly young to be worried about cosmetic surgery, but never the less, want to get it done. I had my daughter over a year ago and where MOST of my pregnancy weight has come off I still have some areas that bother me. For one I have so much extra fat/ skin on my stomach that I can't even look in the mirror without being depressed. I have dieted and excersized and I can't seem to get rid of the last bit. Information on Glaucoma Bleb Cosmetic Surgery? I had a few questions regarding Glaucoma. I have Glaucoma in my left eye, and had to have surgery on it (complete with a bleb) in 2004. Ever since, my left eye appears smaller and a bit more off than the right (pre-surgery, my eyes looked extremely symmetrical). Why Asian’s actor/actress get plastic surgery done and promoting cosmetic surgery to the public? Is it bad to have cosmetic? I mean most people in in the world had or have cosmetic surgery done to their face, such as double eyelids, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and etc. I just don’t understand why people want to get plastic surgery to be “beautiful.” I don’t know why my Asian friends want to get double eyelids surgery done, because they think having bigger eyes is consider beautiful. I myself am Asian, and I don’t want to get plastic surgery, because I personally like almond eyes, they’re beautiful; it makes them look mysterious and sophisticate. Anyway, cosmetic surgeries are widely popular in Korea, Japan, and China. I don’t know what they are trying to change their looks to appear more westernize, which I think promoting the public to get plastic surgery. I mean, why get plastic surgery to make you look “beautiful, when you’re already beautiful? Also, getting plastic surgery done with double eyelids, rhinoplasty will not make your future kids have the double eyes, and a narrow nose. Pros and Cons of Cosmetic Surgery? I need this for an essay I'm writing-- If somebody could please illustrate the pros and cons, and any information they can find about cosmetic surgery, that would be vastly helpful. Like, how did cosmetic surgery benefit/hurt our economy? What are the side effects of cosmetic surgery, physically? What does it say about America, which has one of the largest cosmetic surgery industries? Is it ethical? Is it the reslut of low self-esteem? Does it imply to much value in appearances? graphs, numbers, real-life stories, anything would be helpful. Thanks. Well, this is certainly annoying.
