Is risky to have liposuction performed in the neck area?
I am developing a small double-chin and want it gone immediately. Liposuction has to be the fastest way to get rid of it, but I am wondering if there are risks come with this operation.

- As with any operation, there are risks going under a general anaesthetic, and there's the possibility of post-surgical infection. Or if the surgeon botches it, it will be in an obvious place. Best case scenario you'll probably have a recovery period of a few weeks with swelling and bruising.
- there are other treatments available. there is a type of laser used now to tighten and tone the skin, if it is sagging. There are also herbal wraps at spas that do the same type of thing. ANY surgery where general anaesthetic is used is risky. No matter how small. You must also research your surgeon thoroughly, for licencing, malpractice, etc. Look at poor Kanye West's mom. I'd check out the non-surgical methods first, even facial yoga. BTW: it's not from too many Twinkies, right?
- honestly! ask a surgeon! theyd know best and they dont lie! - if you go to a good one :D nothing that isnt natural isnt exactly risk-free but if you feel that you really need to do it then consult with your plastic surgeon. i suggest you try losing weight itll honestly go from your neck - liposuction is a bit dodge theres gotta be side effects but you'd never know now because its not been around long enuf for us to see the long term side effects! be veeery careful what you do with your body - you dont want to regret something later on and wished you hadnt done it. visit your health care proffessional or consult a fitness proffessional to find out the fastest way to reduce double chins! xxx hope i helpd xxxx
